Gridlock began during my second year at university, right around the time I fully discovered my love for sound and music in film. When Hugo approached me about coming on board as a producer, it felt like a natural fit. We’d talked before about wanting to make something meaningful during our time at Exeter, and this felt like the right opportunity to do just that.

Looking back, it was one of those turning-point projects, the kind that throws you in the deep end and forces you to figure it out as you go. It taught me how much can be achieved with the right people, a shared goal, and a lot of patience. It also showed me that producing isn’t just about managing, it’s about believing in a project enough to will it into existence.
