I initially conceived the idea for Composure during the summer of 2023. I felt inspired to create a film that reflected my own experience of the creative process, a journey that often involves chaos and challenge. I wanted to channel my passion into producing something that embodied that essence, with music playing a central role. However, to complicate matters further, I had also decided to compose the entire soundtrack, making it my first time directing and scoring a film simultaneously!

Leonard Bernstein famously said, “to achieve great things, two things are needed; a plan, and not quite enough time,” a quote which I felt fully embodied the story that I wanted to tell, so much so that it became the tagline for the film itself. Though I didn't know this then, that sentiment would also manifest in the project's production, as I tried to navigate a plethora of twists and turns. Reflecting on this incredible journey, I am filled with overwhelming gratitude and pride. The journey from the film's inception to its completion was not without its challenges, but each obstacle we overcame taught me invaluable lessons about creativity, collaboration, and perseverance.
